Gerard Laures, founder of Enjoy Leadership S.à r.l., brings nearly 30 years of experience from KPMG in Luxembourg, where he was a long-standing partner and Head of Financial Services Tax. In this capacity, he worked closely with leading financial institutions and played an active role in Luxembourg’s financial industry through his involvement in the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL).

Beyond client advisory, Gerard was instrumental in leading internal transformations at KPMG, shaping the firm’s strategy, processes, and culture. He also played an active role in talent development, contributing to assessment centres, mentoring programmes and leadership development initiatives, and supporting high-potential professionals on their journey to partnership.

Over the years, Gerard realised that the aspect of his work he found most rewarding was helping people grow as leaders. Whether through mentoring, coaching, assessment centres, or supporting professionals as they took on greater responsibilities, he was consistently drawn to the human side of leadership and development.

This realisation inspired him to found Enjoy Leadership. It provided an opportunity to combine decades of business and leadership experience with a dedicated focus on helping leaders, teams and organisations develop their full potential and create lasting impact.

Today, Gerard combines his deep business insight with a passion for empowering individuals and teams, helping them grow in confidence, clarity and impact. He also focuses on team development, building high-performing teams through collaborative workshops and strengthening team dynamics. He believes that leadership should be as fulfilling as it is effective, and his mission is to help people not only succeed in their leadership roles, but truly enjoy them—finding purpose, balance and energy in the process.
